WHAT WE DO

We provide clear and actionable insights in climate analytics for market-aligned regulatory reporting, climate data - and software as a service. We cover all relevant physical climate risk hazards with data sets for both current as well as future climate scenarios. Marrying these hazard data sets with company-specific asset and vulnerability data, CLIMADA Technologies can generate the following for you:

Detailed physical risk analytics spanning both direct and indirect impacts

Robust compliant risk assessments, on portfolio and asset level

Industry-specific financial risk metrics and scores comparable across regions and sectors

OUR SWEET SPOT

Our technology can perform anything from an in-depth analysis spanning 1 asset in a single country to a comprehensive analysis covering over 1'000'000 assets housed in unique geographies across the globe.

Our aim is to provide decision-critical information and insights through the capture and quantification of uncertainty, rendering the spectrum of possible outcomes transparent.

WHAT SETS US APART

PROBABILISTIC MODELING
PROBABILISTIC MODELING
With an uncertain future, we have opted for a quantitative modelling approach covering a wide set of possible outcomes, to deliver a more refined account of potential events, tail risks and impacts.
ADAPTIVE ARCHITECTURE
ADAPTIVE ARCHITECTURE
Climate-related regulations and market requirements are complex and rapidly changing. Our software enables you to embrace adaptability to take on the unpredictable nature of future legislative and customer demands.
OPEN SOURCE TECHNOLOGY
OPEN SOURCE TECHNOLOGY
With climate related litigation on the increase and green hushing becoming the norm, we embed open code at the core of our technology so that you can deliver the transparency needed for effective market disclosures.
CONSISTENT VALUES
CONSISTENT VALUES
Some models focus on defined regions, others focus on selective hazards. Our model provides globally consistent values across all geographies and perils so that you can compare what happens climatically in any given region along any given time horizon.

HOW WE WORK

You supply us your global coordinates and as much relevant information concerning your assets. If there is insufficient information, we blend the data with other information using artificial intelligence to increase the quality of the data sets. The input is then cleansed, rendering it as accurate and complete as possible. Depending on whether you require a climate risk analysis for reporting purposes or a detailed in-house technical resilience analysis, we spend the appropriate time tailoring the output to your requirements.

Once we have the data on file we update our analytics regularly, aligning to the latest findings and updates of climate change research and corresponding climate change models.

Our open source philosophy means that we leverage publicly accessible climate data.  However, in order to be able to satisfy more intricate requests, our adaptive technology integrates easily with private hazard event sets.

We deploy digital twin technology to enhance and enrich the data available for climate risk modelling. By creating virtual representations of companies and their physical assets, we can screen hundreds or thousands of entities at once, capturing location-specific exposure and vulnerability across entire portfolios. This approach is particularly valuable for for organisations managing complex, global supply chains, or financial institutions looking to assess climate risk in loan books. Digital twins allow us to translate high-level climate scenarios into actionable, asset-level insights at scale.

INDUSTRIES

CORPORATES
CORPORATES
We support all types and sizes of companies worldwide, take action in relation to a variety of increased climate-related reporting (ISSB) and resilience and resilience based risks such as supply chain disruptions, stranded assets or labour productivity.
BANKING
BANKING
We support banks globally to undertake a rigorous examination of climate scenario analyses, whether this be for their own assets or for their portfolios, resulting in a higher level of readiness to properly manage and adapt to climate impact.
INSURANCE
INSURANCE
Insurance companies are well-versed in probabilistic modeling to price out their risk. Yet most use these capabilities for forecasting short-term impacts. We support insurance companies in long term scenario analyses aligned to ISSB requirements.
GOVERNMENTS
GOVERNMENTS
We assist public services in their quest to strengthen and promote global climate financial resilience, in turn mandating companies to provide robust climate disclosures aligned to TCFD reporting.
