Climate Risk Assessment: Heat related impacts and adaptation for an Indian textile factory
CLIMADA Technologies has collaborated with Sustainable Living Lab (SL2) in a pro bono climate risk assessment for the Digvijay Textile Factory in Kishangarh, India. The study focuses on heat-related risks and adaptation strategies to protect workers and improve factory resilience.
As part of the project, CLIMADA Technologies provided data-driven climate risk analytics, enabling the team to model future heat stress scenarios and quantify their operational and financial impacts. The insights supported targeted adaptation measures, including infrastructure improvements, worker safety training, and heat mitigation solutions.
This initiative underscores both organizations’ commitment to climate justice and equitable adaptation, applying advanced analytics to real-world challenges faced by vulnerable communities and small industries in high-risk regions.
